Welcome to the world of glamorous camping at the top of a mountain in the peaceful countryside in west Wales.  We only have one group or family at a time so you have the camp to yourselves. We are a small family run camp and are often described as bohemian by our guests.

 

Your 5 metre luxury bell tents sleep up to either 3 or 4 people and can be set up for a romantic retreat or for a family holiday. Your glamping experience is enhanced by coir matting, rugs and the wood burning stove. A proper mattress, duvets and lovely cotton bedding make for a comfortable nights sleep. The stove heats the tent quickly but needs restocking with wood during the night to keep you toasty.

 

The tents are situated in 2 fields adjoining our garden. In the main field the tents look out on to the fire pit and hot tub. We have seven tents which can sleep up to 20 people between them. The fire pit has log seats and it is wonderful to relax round in the evening toasting marshmallows while you watch the stars. There is a beautiful Raj marquee tent for dining.

 

There is a fully equipped kitchen with fridge freezer, gas cooker, crockery, glasses, pans, utensils, etc. Fresh filtered spring water is provided by tap in the washing area for drinking and washing. There are two loos, one is a compost toilet and the other other is a flushing toilet for wees only. There is a new purpose built shower and another in the vintage static caravan which also has a freezer and extra space for relaxing if the weather is unkind.

 

The cosy bell tents can be set up for couples or for up to 3 adults on a double and single bed, or for a family, older children can camp in a separate tent if they wish. Tents have cushions and rugs and double or single beds as needed. Cotton bedding, duvets, blankets and pillows are provided. There are 3 fabulous vintage caravans for extra sleeping if needed.

 

We have a beautiful wooden hot tub that is cleaned and filled with fresh spring water for each new group or couple and it doesn't have any chemicals added. It is heated by a wood stove. It seats 6 people and is a fabulous space to unwind with a cocktail or glass of wine whilst star-gazing.

 

Parking is close to the main field and more parking at the top of the new field.

 

A selection of board games (Chess, Scrabble, Monopoly, cards, Tell me, Connect 4 and some classic vintage games) are kept in the bell tent and we also have a dolls house in the kitchen to keep smaller children occupied whilst you are cooking. The outdoor games are kept in a big box under the washing up table and include croquet, swing ball, badminton and skipping games.  We have a ball for football or volleyball and there are buckets and spades which can be taken to the beach.

 

Please bring musical instruments to play around the fire but any electronic music must be turned down at midnight.
